Nature’s Laboratory Eco Commitment

Last month on June 5th, we celebrated World Environment Day. The theme for the day focussed on solutions to plastic pollution under the campaign #BeatPlasticPollution. The world is being inundated by plastic. More than 400 million tonnes of plastic is produced every year, half of which is designed to be used only once.

Enterprise Works - in Thessaloniki

I am James Fearnley the CEO of Natures Laboratory. We research and manufacture natural medicines in Whitby North Yorkshire. This last week I found myself on a visit with Enterprise Works (University of York) to Thessaloniki in Greece, not far from the birthplace of Aristotle, perhaps the most important philosopher in history.

Learning from the Bees Conference

Earlier this month on 3rd and 4th April, James Fearnley, CEO of Nature’s Laboratory, attended the Learning from the Bees Conference, organised by The Natural Beekeeping Trust, at Sheepdrove Organic Farm and Conference Centre, Hungerford. 150 people gathered for this 3rd conference to learn from the bees, as the organisers explained; “in a spirit of reflection, celebration and inquiry as we acknowledge the honeybee’s place in this world as a creature worthy of respect and protection.”

A Visit from an Old Friend - Prof. John Igoli, Vice Chancellor of Pen Resource University, Nigeria

One very good friend of BeeVital over the years has been Professor John Igoli. We first got to know John when he was working with our long-time colleague Dr Dave Watson at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow. John had come from Nigeria to do post-doctoral research there. He found out about propolis soon after he joined and quickly developed a passion for propolis research.
