As a Whitby-based company deeply rooted in Yorkshire, Yorkshire Day (1st August) gives us a moment to pause and celebrate everything we stand for—natural health, community connection, and the incredible richness of this region we’re proud to call home.
🌿 A Natural Approach, Inspired by Herbs & the Hive
At Nature’s Laboratory, we’ve spent decades exploring the remarkable healing potential of the beehive and of herbs. Through our brands—BeeVital, Herbal Apothecary and Sweet Cecily’s—we develop natural health products backed by science and guided by nature.
Our work with herbs, honey, propolis, pollen and other bee products continues to grow, helping people around the world care for their health in more natural ways. These incredible substances are at the heart of what we do—connecting us not just to bees, but to the land, the seasons, and the communities they serve.
🏠 Supporting Our Community: The Dispensary, Whitby
We’re also proud to support The Dispensary, a not-for-profit community health initiative based right here in Whitby.
The Dispensary offers a welcoming, vibrant space that brings together people from all walks of life to learn about and take charge of their own wellbeing. It’s also a shop and community hub that we’re deeply involved with.
You’ll find a carefully curated selection of products, including:
- Local honey
- Locally baked delicious breads
- Locally produced medicines from the beehive
- Locally hand-made arts and crafts
- Locally produced natural health supplements
- Locally produced handmade natural skincare.
As part of our ongoing commitment, we provide financial support, as well as staffing resources, to help The Dispensary thrive as a centre of community wellbeing.
